Happy New Year + a week of 2011 everyone!

I know I'm late but who cares ~

Well this year I was blessed to have an unplanned get together on New Year's Eve with my 2 besties since Standard 1! It wasn't extravagant but just a simple chitchatting session at warung stall.. we gossiped, laughed .. OUT LOUD .. talk about stuff that we rarely share with anyone... a bit of walking down the memory lane.. well.. it's a longggg lane considering we've known each other since like forever!.. Diba is getting married this March, so most of the topics are marriage-related :p it was fun!

Hmmm... i guess 2010 was an eventful .. a bit emotional...  year for me.. but afterall my life was pretty normal just like any other girl-next-door around.. just for the fun of it, lets just list down the well-that's-normal stuff happened around last year shall we? --Not in any particular order--

** i finally quit my first job.. without any job lined up.. without my families & my friends knew about it.. and i almost broke

** i was totally unemployed for around 3 months.. starting after raya until 22nd november

** i joined the MSC job camp training program.. it was fun! i've made good friends there!

** resigned from the job camp when eventually a company recognised me & offering me the dream job i've always see myself in :)

** being a part of CPS Neoxers

** was thrown out of somewhere

** Baby Neo!

** the guy i had a crush on asked me out.. but he's married.. a relief to me by the way

** the 101010 reunion with my girls!

** my brother got home for 3 months

** someone asked me to date him & make me smile everyday.. thank you :)

i wonder what 2011 will bring to me... focuses will be on my career, family-time & hopefully i have a glimpse of whom my future hubby is *wink* :-)

Futsal

i started to futsal again.. but this time was with other different team from last time.. well u know i don't really got girlfriends at work.. since there are only 4 of us in my department which reach up to 500 i guess.. 2 of them are married so they don't socialise much... and a 2-year senior from me who sit next to me at the office... hrmmm i just think that we are not at the same wavelength in major things.. but we do get well sometime though.. and i am not the type who just get along easily with everyone.. sometimes it shows but most of the time just merely fake.. or i just have a high extra good mood at the time.. well last time i joined my friend's team from r&d but they are slowing down now on the activity... and yesterday i got an email from a girl from other department who i am working with in one of the projects i'm currently involve.. and it turns out that she is one of the.. should i say lucky? ;) :person that i can befriend with.. (befriend in my interpretation as i am being myself when around the person).. she asked me to join their team & they played quite regularly every thirsday night... i was like helll yeah!! i'm so looking forward to working out & sweating my shirt off!

They are so fun & i enjoyed every single thing although i never knew them, and some of them are just like me.. well loud while playing hahahh... most of the time when i'm shouting at my teammate to pass the ball to me, i just shout 'babe!' as i don't know a single name in the play hahahhh ;) .... hope i can get well with the team huh...

hrmm it seems like i am immune to be around strangers and being a totally stranger myself :D i like!

9. masa kecik2 dulu selalu bergaduh dengan adik beradik.. ala biasa la tu... sampai pernah patahkan pembaris kuning kebanggaan kakak saya dan pernah jugak pecahkan tabung smiley adik saya kah3 :D

I Am Back For Good!

hey yo, it's been 3 days since i'm back again to lovelyyyy hometown, my flight was on saturday night 10pm, and safely arrived at klia at 530pm sunday. i'm not yet miss Cardiff, hopefully I won't. and i think maybe i just successfully fight over the jet lag, i slept the whole day and awake all night for these past 3 days. its tiring ok. anyway...

What will I miss in Cardiff and uk generally:

1. SHOPPING!! the guilt-free feeling you get when paying in pound currency! everything seems cheap!

2. the easy access to anywhere pass through my mind. I can just get up from my chair, grab my favorite green sweater and out to tesco when this happens: "alamak teringin minum coke pulak". or when feel bored, feeling like wasting some money on stuff or just waste my time wandering around shops in cardiff city centre. yup, that would be easy here when i have my own ride AND confidence again to drive hehehh

3. the very friendly people, no matter where and who they are. from the customer service, salesperson, at post office, ticket booth, people walk by, yup basically just everywhere and yeah not to forget the gentleness and the way of life of british people: open up the door for people behind you, always smiling, etc etc etc

4. the independent haja; wash her own dishes, cook her own food (eventhough most of the times tasteless, she didn't care as it's only herself she had to please), wash her own clothes, buy own food, get anything or anywhere by herself. (maybe i need to not live with my parents to be all independent again, otherwise, kak sri will do all the chores)

5. the 'perfect figure' me huahuahuahauaa

6. my knee-high boots i always wear when its raining, i just feel cool and simple in it hahahaha plus its super easy to just sarung it and step on the puddle while its raining yuhuuuuuu.. oo yeah i definetly will miss the amount of WIND we have in UK! how i wish malaysia can have a bit of it, HOT + SUNNY + WINDY = PERFECT weather.. i like!!!

7. the dry toilet, how the toilet (yup literally, toilet), shower room and sinks are separated. and toilet paper! can i continue use toilet paper here? hmmm i want to

8. ants and mosquitos free, IMPORTANT!

9. and many more....

What will i NOT miss in UK:

1. my chapped lips!!!! really hate that! i dont really have that problem in malaysia, thank God

2. the temptations of malaysian foods . hopelessly drooling over the internet or recipe book, or just by chatting with friends about it!

3. dead city at night, shops closed after 5pm, 8pm on thursday. boring! here, u can still go to kedai mamak enjoying the mee goreng at 12 midnight when u feel so.

4. being minorities are just not cool

5. hoh that's it??

1. my weirdly sensitive right eye, yup only the right eye. and only happens when i'm here, so far i dont have yet the problem and hopefully i wont get it anymore! its just super annoying!!!!!!

Fire Alarm

we set off the fire alarm!!!! how i really miss that freakin annoying sound! well, yes i exaggerate a bit, the guest forgot to turn  off the gas in the kitchen, me and housemate were checking tickets online in my room when it was set off, first i was like "hmmmm bunyik ape nih?" hohhhhhhhh fire alarm! in our house! wahaaaaa panicked! then housemate asked me to call security, but i have no idea what the number was, then i went out the room, checking the guest (yes playing a very nice and caring tuan rumah) and the guest saw me muddling with my phone "who u trying to call?" "security, security!" "ohhh try this 02*******" , i dialed "te ne net.... te net net..... error error " shittttttt..... went out to see what the neighbors reactions, nothing... the guest finished stuff at kitchen while housemate still tried hard searching for the security number, again the guest "ok?" "no what i got te ne net blka bla bla", the guest looked again at the number "ohhhhhhh these numbers should be the other way round" "ohoooo ok2, will try again now......" "hello, security" "well hi hello, we accidentally set off the alarm, ** L***** Street" "ok will send someone over now", and me as usual, a very skema one, "ok sume kluar"... so there we were sitting outside waiting for the security guy, about 3 minutes later, our savior came! a very nice guy! well uncle actually, fuhhhhhhhhh!!! "very sorry!" "ohhh no problem, u were cooking don't u" " yeahh" and he did his job, checking the kitchen a bit... and the neighborhood was silence again......

other story, i already started packing my stuff, starting from files & books.... goshhhhhhhh i never like packing up!!! i always want to do it last minute huhhhhhhh, now i'm stuck with "should i bring this home? or should i just leave it? will i still need it? alaaaaa sayangnyer" hahhhhhhhh i'm suck at throwing away my stuff!

Am I Still Afraid Of Prawn?

Last night i was offered 'sambal udang' and ikan goreng by guests staying at our house, so i went. First, i just thought to add some sambal on my rice, then when i see the prawns.... the very 1st time after more than 10 years i was thinking "why not just try some??", i never have that thought leave alone crave for prawns before.. although everytime when me and my family went to have seafood somewhere, my sisters and brother will always try their best to lure me with the biggest prawn and crabs they have..well i never fell to them even once, since i was kid i always believe i have allergies of prawns and crabs cause my throat and inside my neck, near my ears will terribly became itchy, so itchy that i felt like inserting my fingers into my mouth to get rid off the pain. But surprisingly last night the pain was bearable, yup it still itchy while i ate them, but after that it gone... weird i thought, was it always like that or maybe i was small back then that i can't bear the pain at all, and now i've grown up, does it mean my body already can overcome the allergies?? hope so cause i felt a bit happy to be able to eat them... i don't have idea about crabs yet but all i know is the effect was worse than prawns. gratefully, i'm starting to eat prawns again!

Craziest Dream & Updates on Lenses

Well last night i had a REAL bad dream.. the worst dream ever!!  ..I already wrote down a bit of the dream but i think its better to delete it... ok about the contact lenses, i've been wearing them for quite a week now...and i went to appoinmnet yesterday and this time a very cute guy did the check up hihihhhh  ... he checked my vision...everything perfect...so the problem with "sometimes it a bit blur and not as clear as without them on" is probably because of the colour block my eye's pupil a bit.... and the problem with headache "you are a lazy blinker you are" hahahhhh....well he told me that i need to always blink my eyes and make sure that both upper and lower eyelids are touched with each other cause i tend to have a half-blink eyes as he said hahahhh...ok so to wet the eyes....ohh i never know that ....if they are dry, the lenses will grip on the eye make me feel the headache...

New Mug

I have a new mug! i have a new mug! i have a new mug!! well a mug with a cover...i've been looking for this stuff for quite long time and finally found it on ebay and it reached me few days ago..what so significance about this type of mug is i'm quite particular in cleanliness and tidyness (as far as i'm concerned..) and i always have a jug of water in my room so i need a mug of course and i really don't want to clean the mug everytime i want to drink..because i think an open mug (no cover) will have dust fall into it so means i've been drinking water with some dirt...ewwwwww not acceptable! Uhhhhhhh i really need bananas right now!!! starving to hell!! the cleaner man is still ouside my room doing the hoover.... huwaaaaaaa quick quick!!!

Definitely i am!! some people might say "ooohh haja you don't have to check your weight you're thin enough" everytime i step on the weight scaler..but there are some would say that i have a balance between my height and my weight and i'm definitely agree with the later one.. as i am short i'm quite concerned about how much i weigh cause i don't want to look fat and short and round! i think i will look horrible with the chubby size although some might look cute and sexy..and well i definitely hate that sexy a**..so i'm trying to keep my weight around 39-42 max 43! even my BMI says i'm underweight but i'm happy with that as long as i'm not reaching the overweight level..i think it will be harder to maintain the weight then..well i have this one Levi's jeans that i made as  a standard for maintaining my body mass.. well then

ok frankly the best memory is being a child itself.. as a child we don't have to think lots of think as we need as a grown up.. for instance we don't have to be curious about our look.. we don't need all that beauty stuff cause our skin already soft and smooth.. we don't think about getting a good result in exam..well some may do but the impact is not as hard as when we are in university or in case of works.. there's nobody will look at us in an auckward way if we are playing with toys at the playground cause thats what children do.. and so on...

ok stop about that... i don't know whats the point i wrote all that myself hahahh ;p... ok about my favourite childhood memory.. hmmm i think there's sure a lot but maybe loads of it that i have forgotten..so i'm going to talk about my favourite childhood memorIES that i still have a memory of...

there was a boy who i had a crush on when i was in school (standard 5 or 6 something) and i THINK he also had a crush on me hahahahh... but well the point is it made me have the enthusiasm to go to school and other school programs.. when in class, yeah we were classmates and i sat 2 rows behind him so i got excited everytime i had to go to the front class say to hand in homework or to talk to the teacher or to answer anything on the board.. because i got the chance to walk pass him and to look at him everytime i went back to my seat.. hahahh yeahhh sounds silly and funny

another thing is i miss spending times with my family... well everyone's grown up now and we don't live together anymore.. my sisters and brother are at college so they stay in hostel..my eldest sister stay in our house in Sepang... we used to go shopping together eventhough its only groccery shopping but the fact that we go shop together really made me exciting about it.. and we used to always go to my father's office at night at the airport...so we always had KFC as a dinner and eat together there... we celebrated birthday either having party where theres lots of friends came which means loads of present hehehh.. or we just celebrate it with having big dinner outside..

i also miss spending times at my grandparents places.. the most exciting part is during fruits season (yeah we have fruits season in malaysia instead of winter, autumn etc...) so we'll go to the fruits farm to pick up fruits while eating at the same time.. i still remember i loved to eat mangosteen which i still do! so everytime i eat them, my mom will only let me wear old clothes because mangosteen will leave a purple+red colour on our hand and as a child i don't bother to wash m hands everytime after eating it, i just wipe my hands on my clothes so the shirts will get the colour as well... huhuhhh... and yeah i miss a lot the feelings to celebrate Eid... well i haven't celebrate it with my family for 3 years now (i'm studying in UK) and insya-Allah i'll celebrate it next year when i finish my study .... and i agree the feelings are different as a child and as a grown ups..

A Sleepless Night

i can't sleep last night.. i slept at about 5 am.. so i grabbed a notebook.. a very small one and started to draw anything came up on my mind at that time hahahh.. and i used my sister's pastel colour to colour them and believe me they were AWFUL!! haha.. and when i tired of it i just wrote and quote whatever i want in it spontaneously..what i was thinking and what happened in my life and here they are (really stupid ;p)

I am afraid there will be flood here. What will happen to the cats outside?? I want to sleep but at the same time i dont want to eventhough i feel sleepy.

The water tank above me had been dropping water since few days. Sometimes I feel like it is falling down and hit whoever on the stairs. Please not when there's somebody on the stairs!!

i've been to 3 wedding ceremonies last weekend. and i have to say that i hate a kenduri with music played as a background. it is really annoying as people are forced to scream to each other and the sound are really a pain in the a**!!!

I Love My Heater

last friday during dinner (kalo x silap) biasela kami akan bukak pot bersembang2 dan bergosip2.. n tbe2 k.ira bukak topik about me bought a new heater.. as u no my old heater was taken by d 'gipang' team.... uhuhuh.. so fatin pon dgn peliknye tnye knape aku prlukan heater?? bilik aku sejukker?? ok i think d following are d best answer i can give...

1st i really cant stand it when its really cold sampai ke tahap kaki aku pon jadik sejuk gak.. y?? because i cant do anything when its cold.. i'll only baringing in my duvet doing nothing until i fell asleep.. so now is avery critical time for my project its less than a month until i need to submit d dissertation... so kalau aku dok je dlm duvet smpai ble nak siap kan report?? ehe..

then fatin kater... ooo aku ok je kalo da pkai sweater n socks... hmmm...

y i don wanna wear those things in my room??? cause aku akan rase rimas sgtttt berselubung dlm bilik.. cukuplah bersweater or berjaket di luar but not when i'm in my room.. rase berat sgttt huhuh..

yup2 my room is soooo damn cool but strangely its very cold during day.. cause at nite they turn on d heater to d max.. but not during d day.. n its become soo fuckin cold when its windy.. cause my room is like at d corner of d building so boleh bayangkan la kan bile berangin bilik aku jadi tmpt berkumpulnye angin... sampai bergoyang2 lngsirbilik aku even i don open d window.. hmm.. so thats y i need external heater huhuhu... n i just use it during d day though.. aku xdela kejam sgt nak pkai setipa malam... bler sejuk je aku pasang..
